Istrian Malvasia

Our Malvasia captivates with the very first sip with its intense scent of green apples, pears, and Mediterranean herbs, while on the palate it develops into a light, drinkable wine with a refreshing acidity that makes it an ideal aperitif or a perfect companion to various dishes.

It pairs ideally with white fish, seafood, pasta with light sauces, and fresh cheeses. Serve it chilled at a temperature of 8-10°C and indulge in the authentic taste of Istria.

Chardonnay

For Wine Lovers Who Appreciate Clarity of Aroma and Varietal Purity: Poleis Chardonnay is the embodiment of the Istrian terroir translated into a glass: an elegant, fresh, and mineral white wine that combines recognizable varietal aromas with Mediterranean vibrancy.

In the glass, it stands out with a gentle green-yellow color that announces its freshness. On the nose, it brings fine and intense aromas characterized by ripe fruits from warmer regions. Notes of ripe tropical fruit (pineapple and banana) and yellow fruit (peach and ripe apple) dominate, subtly interwoven with mineral notes of Istrian red soil.

On the palate, it is elegant, full-bodied, and rich in texture, with a pleasant, long finish. It maintains extraordinary freshness and liveliness thanks to moderate acids, which makes it extremely drinkable and beautifully rounded.

Our Chardonnay represents a more modern, unburdened style, nurtured in stainless steel to preserve pure fruitiness and minerality, without a strong oak influence.

White Muscat

Elegant, Fragrant, and Irresistible: Muškat bijeli Poleis (White Muscat) is an alluring, harmonious wine that unites a rich varietal aromatic profile and Istrian freshness.

An intense and recognizable Muscat profile dominates. The aromas are rich, complex, and delicate, with emphasized notes of white flowers (elderflower, acacia), citrus (lime, orange peel), and ripe yellow fruit (peach, apricot). A slight hint of honey discreetly runs through the background.

It is characterized by a perfect balance between sweet fruity extract and refreshing acids. The sweetness is not intrusive but supports the richness of the taste, leaving a long-lasting, aromatic, and clean finish.

Crystal clear, straw-yellow color with subtle greenish and golden reflections.

Rosé

Istrian Elegance in a Glass: Poleis Rosé signifies Mediterranean refreshment and the sophistication of the Provençal style, while retaining the Istrian stamp.

On the nose, a rich yet refined fruitiness dominates, with clear notes of fresh raspberry, strawberry, and red currant, along with discreet floral tones like rose petals, which give it exceptional drinkability.

It has a delicate taste but with pronounced and lively freshness. The balance between acidity and fruitiness is harmonious, making it extremely light and refreshing. The taste is long-lasting, clean, and the finish is often accompanied by a pleasant mineral note typical of Istrian wines.

It is characterized by an extremely attractive, gentle pink color, often leaning towards pale, salmon tones, which is a sign of short and precise maceration.

Borgonja

Istrian Red Drinkability: This wine best illustrates the elegance of northwestern Istria and is proof that red wines do not always have to be heavy and robust.

Borgonja is an indigenous Istrian red variety that is experiencing its renaissance, and our family is one of the few producers that nurtures it.

Intense aroma, with a rich and extremely fruity note. Dominant aromas of small red forest fruits—such as currants, raspberries, and cranberries—giving complexity and freshness.

On the palate, Borgonja is light to medium-bodied. Unlike Teran, this wine is extremely drinkable and refreshing, with a harmony of soft tannins and pleasant acidity. The taste follows the aromas, with fruity notes enriched by subtle, gentle herbal and spicy tones (red pepper, clove).

It is characterized by a beautiful, lighter ruby red color with a garnet reflection, which heralds its drinkability and lightness.

San Marco White

A Reflection of the Richness of the Istrian Climate: San Marco Barrique Cuvée is an exceptional, complex, and structured blend, created by combining the best white varieties of the Istrian terroir, carefully selected from the deep red soil of Markovec.

Aging in selected oak barrique barrels gives it the complexity and elegance that makes it the flagship of the winery.

The aromas are intense, layered, and harmonious. Notes of red and black berries (ripe cherry, blueberry) dominate, complemented by noble tertiary aromas obtained from the oak: vanilla, roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and mild spices (clove, pepper).

On the palate, the wine is full, powerful, and extremely structured. The acidity is well-balanced, maintaining freshness. The finish is long, warm, and spicy, with a return of notes of licorice and dried plum.

Ideal with aged Istrian prosciutto, truffles, steak, dark game sauces, or hard aged cheeses.

San Marco Red

Tradition Woven into the Barrel: San Marco Red Barrique Cuvée represents a symphony of ripe terroir and oak. This cuvée wine, created from selected red varieties, is carefully nurtured in selected oak barrels (barrique).

It immediately captivates with its deep, intense ruby red color. On the nose, a complex aroma develops, combining the splendor of ripe black fruit—plum and blueberry—with elegant, noble notes of vanilla, dark chocolate, and spices obtained from long aging in barrique.

The taste is strong, rich, and full, with velvety tannins that give the wine exceptional structure and longevity. The fine, creamy finish leaves a memory of warmth and long-lasting elegance.
